DiCon is a new addition to the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese as an internal construction and maintenance service to each parish, ministry, trust and organization within the 8 counties that the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese covers. JJ Creative Group was given free reign over what this could look like. Below is our solution…

One concept needed

As we looked at the county borders that DiCon services, we saw potential in creating a grid pattern in the shape of the county borders that also created a "d." This icon not only was the borders, but also created the visual of a city map / blueprint which showcases the construction / building / maintenance work they offer.

The Outcome

After viewing the outcome, our clients were very pleased and after just 3 meetings total and only one revision (make only the "D" and "C" uppercase) we got the green light and sign off on this brand identity and logo design.
