With an already impressive business plan, NOVUS needed an identity that would take the industry by storm. They had been given a logo that they had been putting on their marketing collateral and pitch decks early on. As I did competitor research, many other businesses had a logo just like this. We wanted to create something unique to them. There was no visual or strategic brand direction set in place so starting from ground zero we had think quick to take advantage of the gap in the market. We needed to devise a consistent, scalable visual system that also unified its digital and marketing. The primary goal was to highlight and showcase the ethical nature and catholic directives first while driving home the benefits program offer they have.
We created a minimalist brand identity with clean typography, neutral colors, and authentic photography that highlights natural beauty. Our approach combined strategy and creative visuals to reflect NOVUS's core values.
With the lack of modernization in the direction industry, we were able to capitalize on industry recognized color palettes and sleek minimal lines. The soul behind the brand is to connect with the real people this service impacts, therefore using real images of workers within parsonages, catholic-owned workplaces, schools and more!
