The Challenge
Stone Harbor Surf needed more than just a visual update. The goal was to create a unified brand and digital experience that made it easy for customers to understand their offerings and book with confidence.
Before this project, the business lacked structure across both brand and digital.
Visuals were outdated and inconsistent
There was no clear brand direction or identity system
Two separate websites on different domains created confusion and split traffic
No streamlined online booking experience, making it harder for customers to take action
The biggest issue was not just how things looked, but how disconnected everything felt. Customers had no clear path from discovering the brand to actually booking a service.
Our Solution
We focused on bringing clarity, structure, and simplicity to every part of the experience.
First, we rebuilt the foundation of the brand. This meant creating a visual direction that felt local, approachable, unique and true to the surf culture while still being clean and professional. From the discovery call they knew that they wanted to go with a bird visual and a surfboard. We took the reins from there reating them a mascot logo and a logo suite to compliment a visual direction that would stand out in their market using bold and bright colors and fun designs.
From there, we restructured the digital experience entirely. Instead of patching what existed, we created a single, focused website that clearly communicated:

At the same time, booking needed to be frictionless. We worked closely with the client to research, select, and implement the right system, ultimately integrating Vagaro directly into the website flow.
